Na Pali Coast – Zodiac Boat Tour
We chartered a 5 hour Coast Guard style Zodiac boat to see a close up view of the spectacular Na Pali Coast. We booked through Holo Holo Charters and our captains name was Dale. Dale has been a tour guide for 28 years and had a fabulous sense of humor. We saw the beautiful coast line and fantastic sea caves. After our scenic tour we stopped the boat at Tunnels Beach and went snorkeling. We saw 8 turtles and schools of fish. After snorkeling we ate a yummy lunch. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone. (If you get sea sick I would book a catamaran tour instead)
Boogie Boarding – Brennecke Beach
Just a short walk down the path there is the best boogie boarding beach ever. We spent a couple half days just riding the perfect sized waves. Our wives had a great time on the beach taking pictures and laying out. Brennecke beach is right by Poi’Pu Beach and is a great place to watch the beautiful sunsets each night.
Coconut Coaster’s – Kapaa
One of my favorite days of the whole trip is when we drove to the charming city of Kapaa. We rented some tandem bikes from Coconut Coasters Bike Shop. We road the bike trail along the coast. It is about a 4 to 5 mile bike ride and very relaxing. We walked down from the trail to the beach and cooled off in the waves. Toward the end of our ride we rolled up to a fun place to eat called Chicken in a Barrel. We tried the sampler and it was an awesome cheap place to eat.
A few minutes from the Villa we found an awesome overlook called spouting horn. The waves crash against a rock formation that forces the water into the air like old faithful. This was an awesome place to take pictures and experience how powerful the ocean is.
Overall, this was the best vacation ever. I will definitely come back soon. I hope to make this a once a year trip. Thank you Villa’s! – Maddie and Weston
