It’s that time of year again! That time where you people feast and feast until your bellies ache, then nap the day away. As a Poipu Beach seal, I’ll never understand it, but it sure is fun to watch!
If you’re one of those people who like to clear a little room before gorging yourself full, come out to Kapaa and join the Turkey Trot on the Kauai Path!
This annual race is one of the island’s greatest holiday activities. Bring the family and choose to run, walk, or bike a 5k or 10k trail. Registration starts at 6:45 am at Kapaa Beach Park. The race starts at 7:30 and is free to all participants! Donations of nonperishable food will go to the Hale Ho‘omalu Center for children and families. Monetary donations for the Kauai Path will also be gratefully accepted. This race is a great way to contribute to the Kauai Path while enjoying it. As the Path is one of our favorite gems on Kauai, I highly recommend it!
