Early check-ins and late check-outs must be arranged with us in advance, as our housekeeping team follows a tight turnover schedule. Additional fees may apply for arrivals or departures outside the confirmed times.

From Old Koloa Town head west on Koloa Rd toward Old Mill Pl. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Ala Kalanikaumaka St. Stay on Ala Kalanikaumaka St for about a mile and then turn right onto Ala Kukuiula. Take your first left onto Ala Pualeikukui and then take a left at the T onto Kaulu St until it you reach another T and turn right onto Uluwehi St. The house is the white one on the left at the end of Uluwehi St.
Home Access
Kii Hale is accessed using the keypad on the main front door.
Your private door code is provided directly in your check-in message. Enter the code and press the check mark to unlock the door.

Parking
There is space for 2 cars in the garage and 2 additional cars in the driveway. Once inside the house, look for the three decorative bowls in the living area. The garage-door remote is kept inside one of them.
Pool Instructions
Pool Cover
Pool Cover & Rainwater Pump
The pool-cover keypad is located on the exterior wall by the pool area.
Your private pool-cover code is included in your check-in message.
Enter the code provided to you, press the check mark, and keep the control pressed until the cover is fully open or closed.
A rainwater pump may be sitting on top of the pool cover. Carefully remove it before opening the pool and set it aside. Once the pool is covered again, place the pump back on top.
Please keep the pool covered whenever it is not in use to help maintain the water temperature and keep debris out.
Pool Size: Approximately 17 ft x 12 ft, about 5 ft deep.
Spa Size: Approximately 8 ft x 7 ft, about 3 ft deep.
Good To Know
- The pool is serviced weekly
- Please let us know if you notice anything that needs attention
- Pool and beach towels are provided in the laundry room
- Please do not use bath towels at the pool or beach
- Children must be supervised around the pool at all times
Spa Instructions
Spa, Jets & Lights
The spa must be activated manually before each use.
With the pool cover open, walk to the side of the house to locate the breaker/control box.
Use this box to activate the:
- Spa
- Jets
- Lights
Important: The controls built into the concrete next to the spa are not operational, so please use the side control box only.
The spa may take approximately 30 minutes to reach temperature.
We recommend using it for about 1–2 hours at a time to avoid overheating the pool and placing unnecessary strain on the equipment.
When you’re finished, please make sure the spa, jets, and lights are turned off.
Air Conditioning
The home is equipped with A/C. Tap the wall thermostat to view the current room temperature, select your preferred mode, and adjust the temperature as needed.
Please avoid extreme temperature adjustments.
Sound System
The main living area includes a Sonos sound system that automatically connects to the TV when the TV is turned on.
To play music from your phone, open your preferred music app and select the Sonos system through AirPlay or your device’s casting options. The patio TV is also connected to Sonos, so you can enjoy TV audio or music outside.
Kitchen & Coffee
Kii Hale has a well-equipped kitchen for cooking and gathering.
You’ll find:
- Drip coffee maker
- Coffee grinder
- Blender
- Air fryer
- Full-size kitchen appliances and cooking essentials
If you plan to use the drip coffee maker, we recommend bringing your preferred coffee and regular drip-style coffee filters.
Kitchen Details
The dishwasher controls are located along the top of the door. Open the door, select your settings, press Start, then close the door to begin the cycle.
Grill Instructions
Follow the steps shown in the video to start the grill. Once activated, listen for the ignition clicks, then carefully open the lid to confirm the grill has lit properly.
The Ohana
Kii Hale includes a detached, ground-floor Ohana suite with its own private entrance.
It features:
- King bed
- Private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower
- Sink
- Under-counter refrigerator
- Compact kitchenette area
Please note that the kitchenette does not include an oven or cooktop.
The Ohana is a great option for guests who appreciate a little extra privacy while still staying close to the main house.
Laundry
The washer and dryer are located in a separate laundry area inside the Primary Suite.
Outdoor Showers
Kii Hale also features outdoor shower access from Bedroom 1 and the Primary Suite..
Beach Gear
You may find beach chairs, floats, coolers, toys, and other beach items in the garage.
These items are left for guests to enjoy when available, but the selection and condition can change between stays, so we recommend bringing or renting anything essential for your plans.
Landscaping
Landscaping service takes place on Wednesdays.
The pool may need to be temporarily vacated and covered while the team works around it. This normally takes approximately 15 minutes.
Please allow the landscaping team to complete their scheduled service.
Trash
Please tie full trash bags securely and place them in the outdoor trash cans located outside the garage, beside the outdoor shower.
Additional trash bags can be found inside the garage.
Trash pickup is early Tuesday morning. The cans are taken to the street Monday evening and returned after collection.
Please do not place the trash cans inside the garage, as the person handling collection does not have garage access.

Respecting Our Neighbors
Some neighboring homes are occupied by full-time residents.
Please keep outdoor noise to a minimum beginning at 9:00 PM and turn off exterior lights when they are no longer needed or before heading to bed.
Kukuiʻula Amenities
Hale Nani is located within one of Kauai’s most exclusive communities.
Please note that your stay does not include access to the private Kukuiʻula Clubhouse, golf course, spa, clubhouse pool, or other private resort amenities.
All private amenities located directly at Hale Nani—including the home, Ohana, pool, spa, and outdoor living areas—are available for your enjoyment.
A Few Things You May Want to Bring
- Coffee and regular drip-style coffee filters if you plan to use the drip coffee maker
- Laundry detergent if you plan to wash clothes
- Cooking condiments beyond salt and pepper
- Any beach equipment that is essential to your plans
Keurig machines are available in both the main house and Ohana.
Exploring Kauai
A rental car is highly recommended for exploring the island.
Many guests also enjoy renting bikes or a street-legal golf cart for getting around the neighborhood and nearby beaches. Local bike, golf-cart, surf, and beach-equipment rentals are available around Poipu.
